Project Mercy Action is a rapid response initiative designed to quickly organize and mobilize medical teams into war torn locations in the Middle East to assist internally displaced people (IDP). In transit, these teams are given training in crisis response, contingency planning and simulation training at a midstream point in Europe before they arrive at their place of service. Often these teams will work in field hospitals as IDPs are fleeing.

Mercy Action is a frontline ministry that places Christian workers near where the action is happening and where some of the greatest refugee needs in the world exist.

• Recruit, train and mobilize these rapid response medical teams

• Provide immediate humanitarian relief to widows and families affected by war

• Strengthen the long-term capacity of workers in these locations

• Build clinics and emergency field hospitals
